Emergency Preparedness and Response Training

The Emergency Response Training Team works to deliver specialist courses to NHS staff. These courses, funded by the Department of Health, enable delegates to respond effectively to major incidents of all kinds.

    Information on courses to improve the health community’s ability to respond effectively to major incidents and emergencies such as the accidental or deliberate release of chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear material.

    Information on training courses provided by the Emergency Preparedness and Response Division of the HPA.

    Useful resources developed by the Emergency Response Division of the HPA. Includes information on the management of potentially radioactively contaminated patients.
