Introductory Course on the Epidemiology and Surveillance of Infectious Diseases

The course provides an introduction to contemporary infectious disease epidemiology and surveillance. It is suitable for public health medicine trainees, environmental health officers and for non-medically qualified professionals working in communicable disease control.

Teaching methods will include a mixture of interactive practical sessions and lectures. Practical exercises will use data of particular relevance to current issues in communicable disease control.
