Zoonoses: Surveillance, investigation and control

The two day multi-disciplinary course will provide a unique insight into the importance of zoonotic surveillance, investigation and control. It will raise awareness of risk pathways and setting for potential transmissions and inform about critical decision making, communications and application of guidelines. Designed specifically for veterinary and public health professionals the course is the first to bring together the expertise from RVC, VLA, HPA and DEFRA to deliver a practical course to enable a greater understanding of zoonotic infections. In addition this year the course will be held at two venues Colindale, London and Carrwood Park, Leeds.
