The Agency's EQA schemes provide an independent assessment of the quality of food and water microbiological services provided by laboratories in the public and private sectors.
Biosafety Unit
The Biosafety Unit has a unique capability of measuring and quantifying the effectiveness equipment and procedures to reduce and prevent exposure to micro-organisms.
Radiological Services
We offer a high quality instrument testing service for many types of radiation detectors and monitors, as well as advice to all industry sectors that use radioactive sources, materials or devices such as x-ray machines etc.
