Yorkshire and the Humber

The HPA regional laboratory in the Yorkshire and the Humber region is based in Leeds and is a commissioned service from the microbiology department at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The laboratory supports the work of general practitioners as well as healthcare organisations, such as hospitals and primary care trusts, by providing clinical testing and diagnostic services to assist the investigation, prevention and control of communicable disease and infection.
