National Knowledge Service - Tuberculosis recognizes that patients and public need rapid access to point of care information about their disease and its treatment at all times. NKS for TB aims to raise awareness by working with charities and voluntary organizations already involved in supporting the patient and public, such as Homeless Link and TB Alert.

TB Alert is a registered charity established in 1998, working on controlling TB in the UK and overseas. TB Alert exists to work towards the control and ultimate eradication of TB by increasing access to effective treatment for all.
