The HPA has over fifty years of experience in providing high-quality radiation dose monitoring for individuals.

PDS offers a range of dosimetry services approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) which use state-of-the-art techniques and are backed up by continual research and development. We currently issue and process 400,000 radiation dosemeters a year. These go to some 5,000 different employer sites in the UK and abroad, covering 65,000 individuals in total. Our customers come from many sectors - nuclear, medical, veterinary, dental, general industry and research - and range in size from a few monitored persons to a few thousand. We pride ourselves on being able to meet our customers' needs and to respond quickly to requests for information or advice.

The HPA regularly achieves good results in national and European inter-laboratory comparisons.

Within HPA we have access to expert advice on all aspects of radiological protection. We strive to build a strong communications between our customers and staff. This will enable us to anticipate and meet customer needs by building long-lasting and successful partnerships.
