Steering committee and management group

As of April 2007 the UKCMN Network Steering Committee took on the role of the HPA Advisory Committee on Fungal Infection.

The remit of the Steering Committee remains:

  1. To steer the UK Clinical Mycology Network
  2. To keep under review the current status of fungal infections and their management in England and Wales
  3. To advise the relevant HPA programme lead on appropriate research, development and surveillance work which might be undertaken
  4. To advise the relevant HPA programme lead on those reference and diagnostic service facilities which might most appropriately be offered at local, regional or national level by the Health Protection Agency.

The Steering Committee meets twice a year to set the work plan of the UKCMN, review progress and follow up actions. View the agendas and minutes  for these meetings.

The UKCMN also has a smaller Management Group, which meets twice a year to ensure continuity of the UKCMN work plan and that outstanding actions are progressing. Membership of the Management Group, and agendas and minutes  for the Management Group can be found at the bottom of the page.
