Rollout of 4G mobile telecommunication technology
The fourth generation of mobile phone communication technology standards, known as 4G, is being rolled out across the UK. As part of the rollout, some householders are being contacted by the mobile communication industry to see if the technology, which uses radio wave frequencies similar to the analogue TV signals, interferes with Freeview television pictures.
