Lead: HPA
WP1 covers the coordination and technical management of the project to ensure that all deliverables are met. The HPA are responsible for delivery of the financial and contractual obligations of the contract on behalf of the Commission.
Lead: EAPCCT
The primary objective of WP2 is to encourage and support the use and testing of the EUPC forum and RAS-CHEM. Rasing awareness of the systems and engaging National Public Health Officials (NPHO) and EU Poison Centres is key to the future EU implementation of the system.
Lead: HPA
WP3 covers the continual evaluation of the project to fulfil each of the outlined objectives. Each objective carries and indicator of performance which will be systematically addressed throughout the contract.
Lead: UMG-GOE
WP4 objectives are: to perform a comprehensive analysis of the requirements of a web based forum that would allow EU Poisons to exchange information readily; develop and test the effectiveness of the pilot IT system.
Lead: HPA
The HPA will coordinate WP5 in close collaboration with the project partners to understand the structure and strategies for engaging NPHOs in different countries. Raising awareness and promoting future participation of NPHOs in the project is also key.
Lead: GFH
The objective of WP6 is to produce a harmonised classification system and list of definitions of toxic agents or chemicals in conjunction with consensually agreed clinical terminology of features and symptoms/syndromes that would signal possible release or exposure to these toxic agents.
Lead: UMG-GOE
UMG-GOE will lead WP7 to ensure: that the EUPC-forum (WP4) and RAS-CHEM are interoperable systems; the outputs from WP5 and WP6 are incorporated into RAS-CHEM. Participation and raising awareness of the system is key, along with comprehensive testing of the system.
