TB information cards for patients

TB information cards (‘i-cards’) have been developed to provide information on the tests that will be conducted in TB clinics. The TB i-cards are available in 12 languages, including English. This i-card provides information on all tests conducted routinely in TB clinics, including chest–Xray, sputum / phlegm tests, blood tests including HIV testing, tests for other infections including HIV, Hepatitis B and C. Information is also provided about about confidentiality of results of these tests and where patients can obtain further information.
