Provisional figures show that there were 488 cases of Tuberculosis (TB) reported in the East Midlands in 2011 compared to 486 cases in 2010.

  • New STI diagnoses decline in region  Release date: 15 June 2011
    New figures released today by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) show that the number of new STI diagnoses has declined slightly in the region. In the East Midlands the overall number of new STI’s diagnosed in sexual health clinics across the region and community based Chlamydia testing declined by 3% to 30,119 in 2010, compared to the previous year’s total of 31,099 in 2009.
