Radiation protection services for dentists
Radiation protection legislation requires that dental practices consult and appoint a Radiation Protection Adviser and seek advice from a medical physics expert. The Health Protection Agency is able to fulfil both these roles. Also, dental x-ray equipment should be subjected to a radiation safety assessment at least once every three years. The Agency's postal-based service is quick, easy and non-disruptive.
