Biocontainment
The Biosafety unit tests containment equipment used in laboratories and healthcare settings to ensure that they give an adequate degree of protection to the users. This testing is either carried out to international standards or meets bespoke testing protocols developed as required.
The following equipment are examples of those that are evaluated and tested:
- Laboratory centrifuge rotors and buckets

- Negative pressure isolators

- Respiratory protective equipment
