This document outlines the HPA’s monitoring and evaluation of the National Chlamydia Screening Programme. The document is divided into three sections: monitoring and evaluation of outputs, monitoring and evaluation of outcomes, and cost evaluation, where: ‘outputs’ relate to chlamydia screening implementation (including coverage and the meeting of standards); ‘outcomes’ relate to the goals of chlamydia screening, and other success criteria, and monitoring of ‘costs’ investigates the financial resources being used in the programme.
