Nature vs nurture and cancer

The abstract of the article is given here.

One of the major questions in cancer research is the extent to which cancers are induced by environmental factors (including radiation) rather than being the result of genetic predisposition. In due course, molecular genetic approaches may provide a conplete answer to this problem, but, in the meantime, we must seek clues from epidemiology.
