A thirty-minute video was produced by the National Radiological Protection Board on mobile telephony and health.
It provides a timely, digestible review of the current state of knowledge about possible health effects of mobile phone handsets and the associated transmission masts. There are documentary style interviews with leading scientists in the field.
The video has been produced professionally and contains graphics and other material to illustrate points made. For example, there are useful graphic sequences showing how mobile phones work, what the possible heating effects could be in the head and how people are exposed to transmissions from masts.
The video should be of interest to professionals who have to deal with mobile phone issues and to members of the public who are keen to know more about the subject. It was produced with the support of central government but a charge has to be made for the basic costs of production and distribution.
The video is also available on CD.
