Unit 10: Communication

An effective communications strategy is essential for all events on this scale. An early priority is to establish a communications group to work with the planners to develop the communication strategy and to ensure there are good links between the organizers, the government and the public health community. The strategy will need to define at an early stage the key messages that will be associated with the event throughout its planning and implementation.
