Action steps: operational work groups

• Include subject matter experts from alliance agencies, partner groups, and vendors to research and study games-related issues.
• Work with each group to establish a governance framework, terms of reference, and overall project management structure (e.g., timelines and phases, risk management, performance management, templates based on deliverables and reporting mechanisms).  
• Consider the overall cross-cutting issues of legacy and communication in all planning efforts.  Always ask the questions – how will we share and explain the benefits of this, and how will we ensure that the benefits last?
• Consider additional cross-cutting issues with health implications, such as transport, security, public health advocacy, buildings, and access.
• Establish a formal process to help work groups stay focused and ensure they have clear direction and support for their work.
• Share common planning assumptions.
• Provide timely answers to questions.
