Background of UKCMN

The Advisory Committee on Fungal Infections' report on Fungal Diseases in the UK 2006 published in 2006, outlined the proposal for the UK Clinical Mycology Network (UKCMN) with recommendations on how it would be set up and run.

The UK Clinical Mycology Network (UKCMN) Steering Group was amalgamated with the HPA Advisory Committee on Fungal Infection on March 31st 2007 and took on the role of both committees.
