The TSE research group at the HPA - Centre for Emergency Preparedness and Response are committed to providing practical solutions to the problems posed by TSE agents, particularly those responsible for Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease (CJD), and where possible to use these technologies to address related healthcare issues. To enable to do this we actively identify and patent novel intellectual property, to encourage the involvement of industrial partners through collaboration and licensing agreements as appropriate. With a proven track record in this area we are keen to explore the possibilities of developing further opportunities with suitable partners as detailed below. We also welcome approaches from companies with existing technologies that may require access to TSE-related models, skills and experience in order for them to reach the market.
