The 15th annual meeting of the Laser Safety Forum will be held on 14 September 2010 at the imago at Burleigh Court Conference Centre in Loughborough. Reports from our previous meetings are published in an occasional newsletter, Laser Safety Matters.
2010 is the 20th anniversary of the start of collaboration between HPA (then NRPB) and Loughborough University on laser safety training and laser safety management. It is also the 50th birthday of the laser. Therefore, coupled with the 15th annual Laser Safety Forum meeting, we have our theme of 20-15-50.

Laser Safety Refresher Course

We are pleased to offer a refresher day following the Laser Safety Forum aimed at those who attended the Laser Safety Officer or the Laser Safety Management course in the past. It will cover developments in laser safety and particularly specific techniques now included in the Laser Safety Management course.
The format of the course will be a balance of formal presentations and syndicate/workshop exercises, with time to discuss specific issues. Numbers will be limited to ensure that participants will achieve maximum benefit from attendance.
Please note that this is a refresher course and not an advanced course. If you are interested in a more advanced course then please contact us.
Attendance fee
£500, which includes attendance at the Laser Safety Forum, all meals and accommodation on 14 September.
