Visitors should leave the M8 at Junction 26 and turn left towards the A8, in the direction of Renfrew. At the next roundabout, turn right onto the A8 towards Govan then go through the next roundabout. At the traffic lights, turn left into Hardgate Road. Go past the hospital entrance and take the next entrance on the right into the car park of the premises of the HPA-REMS.
Visitors should leave the M8 at Junction 25 and at the roundabout turn left towards Cardonald, then proceed through the next three roundabouts. At the traffic lights, go straight ahead into Hardgate Road. Go past the hospital entrance and take the next entrance on the right into the car park of the premises of the HPA-REMS.
The nearest Underground is at Govan. Trains run every four minutes to and from Glasgow city centre. Frequent bus services run from Govan Underground to the Southern General Hospital. At present small buses to the Southern General Hospital leave from the first bus shelter on the right, outside the Underground station, approximately every ten minutes. Visitors should ask the driver to let them off at the last bus stop in the hospital (Maternity); this is about a hundred yards from the premises of the HPA-REMS. There is a taxi rank a hundred yards from the Underground station on the right, near the Bank of Scotland.
The premises of the HPA-REMS are approximately five miles east of Glasgow Airport by road.
