Synopsis

This report provides information on the risks for occupational exposure and seroconversion to bloodborne viruses in healthcare workers. In conjunction with monitoring and informing related policies, it provides recommendations for prevention and improving clinical management of significant occupational exposures to bloodborne viruses.
